CADD Technician

Department: Engineering Specialty Services
Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide CADD drafting and design support for the Company during the planning, design, and construction of typical civil engineering projects.
  • Develop, modify, and/or review drawings according to Company standards.
  • Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting for review.
  • Set up backgrounds, schedules, plan sets and details.
  • Transpose mark-ups onto drawings.
  • Quality control, check and plot drawings.
  • Update contract drawings/specifications.
  • Update master schedules and details.
  • Assist in the rollout of Company standards.
  • May occasionally be required to work in the field.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience or be willing to learn:

  • Designing and reviewing drawings in AutoCAD
  • Applying company standards to drawings
  • Structural building modeling
  • Quality control, check and plot drawings

This opportunity requires:

Education

  • Associate of Science degree in Computer Aided Drafting and/or equivalent experience required.
