Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Project Managers and Engineers by performing the routine aspects of environmental assignments.
  • Assist with field surveys, including wetland/stream delineations and assessments.
  • Assist in preparation of local, state, and federal permit applications.
  • Assist in preparation of specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for projects.
  • Attend kickoff and design review meetings, and interact with clients as his or her level of experience progresses.
  • Assist Project Managers at meetings, presentations, and public hearings/reviews relative to assigned projects.

  • Permitting – Chapter 105/ Chapter 102/ Nationwide
  • Stream and Wetland Reporting
  • GIS/ Shapefile
  • KMZ Development/Use
  • Infiltration Testing
  • Stream Restoration
  • Wetland Delineation
  • Field Plant Identification
  • Field Hydrology Identification
  • Soil Classification
  • Use of Field GPS

This opportunity requires:

Education

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Geology, Environmental Science, and/or related field required.
