Surveying Technician

Department: Surveying
Location: Pittsburgh, PA

This position is full-time in person.

Gateway Engineers is a multi-million-dollar full-service civil engineering consulting firm. We're located in Robinson Twp. and have a beautiful campus outfitted with a walking trail, outdoor volleyball court, garden area, outdoor conference rooms and a fire pit. The ideal Surveying Technician candidate will have the following experience:

  • Write description of surveys
  • Search of legal records, survey records, and land titles
  • Drafting, ALTA preparation, prepare construction stakeout
  • Boundary and topographic
  • Interpret and verify survey data
  • Perform field calculations

This opportunity requires:

Education

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a survey related field or Computer Aided Design

Experience

  • Minimum of one year of related experience

License/Certification

  • Registered Professional Land Surveyor, or be willing to work toward obtaining licensure
