GIS Analyst

Department: Engineering Specialty Services
Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of geographic databases.
  • Provide support to Project Managers and Engineers by performing the routine aspects of GIS assignments.
  • Perform GIS activities to include creating spatial features, developing databases, database management, data conversions, and performing spatial analyses.
  • Perform plan drafting using GIS software.
  • Knowledge of State and Municipal regulations, may obtain permit applications.
  • Comply with applicable State and Federal Codes.
  • Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Attend kick-off and design review meetings, and interact with clients as his or her level of experience progresses.
  • Serve as a representative of the company at meetings, presentations, and public hearings/reviews relative to assigned projects.

This opportunity requires:

Education
